Greetings!

Welcome to the National Coalition of 100 Black Women-Memphis Chapter website. I bring you greetings on behalf of the Memphis Chapter. Our mission is to advocate on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment. We aim to achieve this mission through strategic alliances and civic engagement.

African American women face tremendous challenges in the areas of Economic Empowerment, Education and Health.  As a result, our chapter programs are designed and implemented in response to critical national issues that affect the black community.  Our goals are to address the current issues, concerns and needs that impact the lives of African American women and girls.

I continue to appreciate the organization’s mission, vision and goals which are very much aligned with my personal beliefs about women and the critical role we play in society.  It is for these reasons that I am passionate about our programs, activities and presence in the community.

Warm Regards,

Deborah Rivers, President

National Coalition of 100 Black Women-Memphis Chapter

“As a black woman, the decision to love yourself just as you are is a radical act. And I'm as radical as they come.”
